The are marked in the plaster....(c) 1981 Richard Etts...they are also hand signed....Richard Etts 1990. Both sconces are in very good to excellent condition...the exterior has a very appropriate clamshell sheen. They are wired for plugging into a recepticle, but could be easliy adapted for direct wiring from the back if desired. Richard Etts is a listed artist (Davenport) and there is a great deal of information readily available on the internet about his career.
