A predesessor of Western Stoneware and makers of old Sleepyeye stoneware items.All lettering is in cobalt blue with brown and bristol glaze.Wire bail holds lid in place.Marked Weir Patent '02.This size advertising jar is amoung the hardest stoneware items to find.Approx. 5 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" across bottom.Crazing to bristol glaze (white base) and a very common ocurrance,a tiny chip ( and I mean tiny) or 2 on very bottom and the same on under side of lid(which is not a display issue) but is in outstanding condition and very hard to find with lid and wire bail.I charge a $2.00 handling fee for bubble wrap,packing peanuts,and excellent packaging.Insurance will be required at post office rates.Please wait for invoice to pay actual postal charges.
