The exterior of the cup is decorated with an orchid design and the cup is finished in a green color with raised purple dots and richly trimmed in gold paint. The orchid on the interior of the cup is also accented in gold paint. The bottom of each piece is stamped "Susie Cooper Bone China England" in script - this mark was used from 1950 until 1966. The cup measures 2 3/8" in height and 3 ¾" in the diameter at the top while the saucer measures 5 ¾" in diameter. Each piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks - there are a couple of scratch-like lines on the orchid on the saucer, but this is underglaze and simply a manufacturing defect (see last close-up photo). In addition, there is one teeny tiny scratch in the green background on the cup (see second to last close-up photo), but this is really negligible and mentioned only in the interest of full disclosure.
