Up for auction is a very fine vintage piece that is in excellent condition, though some crazing on base.            The pitcher is 9" tall x almost 7" wide; the bulbous base has 8 flat sides, that taper into a graceful neck, topped with a wide spout.    The top rim has a pretty mono-blue  "lace" transferware  border detail.The body and the handle is completely coverered in the transferware sheeting with no gaps or mistakes.                                                                                      There is a carved indentation marking that looks like a "V" with a slash thru it making it look like an "X"/Maybe this will mean something to a collector.                                     There is a green ink (under the glaze) that looks like "Z." It has been proudly displayed with fresh daisies in my kitchen since 1994-6 when I bought it myself on ebay. I jsut had to ahve it!
