He is marked on the bottom about the opening: USA, HP 58 (for the year of manufacture, 1958) and c. for copyright. Hand painted corky style in a wonderful coloration of light pink and blue onwhite. High gloss glaze finish. The dime slot is on an angle on the piggy's back. The cork is inside the pig's body: you can try to fish it out. The bank is in very good condition: NO cracks, chips, hairlines of fleabites.  It is about 4 1/2" long x 3 1/2" tall. Book value in 2003 was listed as $250-$325.
