I purchased this from an auction and was told that this is an early Northwood piece.   As you may know Northwood manufactured this pitcher at the Indiana, Pennsylvania, plant and production was probably continued when Dugan took over the plant. I believe that this pitcher was produced in the Northwood/National plant 1903-1904.   This beautiful pitcher shows a nice fiery opalescent coloring when the light hits it just right. It stands 9” to the top of the spout and 9 ½” to the crimping; approximately 6” in diameter and in excellent condition.   There is no maker’s mark on this piece.    This extraordinary pitcher is perfect for use.   Please check out my other listings as well as my store!   Most items we sell are antique or vintage.
