Vintage Hull Pottery Continental Cat Vase, Persimmon Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 150.00 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, November 29, 2008 End Time Saturday, December 06, 2008 Location Fort Collins, CO See more about 'Vintage Hull Pottery Continental Cat Vase, Persimmon' Description Offered for your consideration is a Vintage Hull Pottery Continental Cat Vase, Persimmon glaze, marked "809-U.S.A." on the bottom.  This vase is pristine, no chips, cracks, glaze flakes or crazing.  There is one glaze skip about 1 inch below the tip of the tail done in manufacturing (see picture).  It is my understanding these vases may have been experimental pieces.  I can say for sure that the Persimmon Continental glazing was done 1959-1960, so this vase is approximately 50 years old.  This is large and measures 11" high, 6" wide, and 5" front to back.  It weighs about 2 1/2 lbs.  I believe this is quite a rare vase, so there will be a reasonable reserve in this auction.  Bid soon and often if you'd like this beauty in your home for the holidays!  If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please contact me anytime.  (Please read my shipping statement below regarding shipping insurance.)
