This version is more commonly known as "Fauna Danica" and has been produced periodically by Royal Copenhagen since the l9th Century. The motif on this plate is "Haematopus ostrealegus" - the Oyster Catcher. The plate is dated from 1968 and is in mint condition. There are no chips, cracks, restorations or damage of any kind. This plate also has the rare and highly sought after "feather border". The plate is numbered 240/3549 and measures 10" in diameter.
