Description
An HOA spent over $50,000 to torment an autistic young man in court over these items. Single mom and autistic son going to lose everything after nightmare decade. Please consider buying these to possibly donate to a museum of tolerance as a modern art style rememberance of how evil can go unnoticed even when it destorys lives...it is not always blood and gore...sometimes people are tortured in more subtle ways and the ones who hurt them do it with other peoples money and never get held responsible for the subtle means in which they very very slowly destroyed lives. These items are the property of a single mom with an autistic son. I prayed for ideas because we are losing our home. This auction of these items is my idea to try to undo some of the harm done to my autistic son and to try to prevent further loss after nearly a decade of unbearable grief. In 1999 a homeowner association tortured us regarding the Wrought Iron Safety Gate that was needed to protect my son from getting hit by a car should someone forget to lock the front door by accident. In 2002 the HOA notified us that the HOA did not like the way we got to keep the safety gate and that we needed to be humbled and make a sacrifice for the gate. The HOA sued us, kept my son in court for years and caused him to have serious regressions. I am his mom, a single mom now, aged 55 and my autistic son is 24 and has had a very very sad decade. The HOA would have kept us in court more years but we went bankrupt and it put their lawsuit on stay. We are on the verge of losing our home and our possessions. I hope that selling this safety gate and the window we can't afford to keep will turn the tide and help us start life over. These items could be displayed in a museum of Tolerance as a modern art reminder of what can happen when power is abused. That an HOA can use ANYTHING as an excuse to hurt ANYONE if there are not laws made to stop this kind of abuse. My son and I are on the verge of losing everything. We have lived in anxiety for a decade. I got the idea to do this auction to try to save us when I was wondering what I would do with the items that the HOA used to hurt us all these years. We can't afford to keep them. We can't afford a place to rent large enough to keep the possessions we need. I was trying to have an idea that would help us avoid being homeless. The two problems combined and formed this idea to have an auction that would help us get our new life started and find a place for the items that were used as weapons against us. Maybe there is hope and good can come out of all this horror. Thank you for considering this idea. Godspeed.
