Description
BAROLAC SMOKE 'FISH' VASE. Barolac glass started in Czeckoslovakia at the Inwald Glassworks. Barolac glass comes in different colours, particularly their fantastic opalescent, clear, smoke and frosted. The opalescent range was produced in the 1920/30's. A fantastic quality Vase in smoke colour depicting a varied fish pattern. Pattern No. 11129. Dated circa 1930's. Unsigned, but verified by Marcus Newhall, author of soon to be published 'Sklo Union. 20th Century Czech Pressed Glass' (for info visit www.sklounion.com). height: 22.5cms, width: 11.5cms, weight: 1.6kg. THIS ITEM IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (has very minor age wear to base). Check out my other items! Buyer Protection offered with 'Paypal' payments.
