This 5" wide by 5 1/4" high by 2 7/8" deep dark blue/gray and white Handpainted Scottish Terrier [ also known as a Scotty dog ] planter appears to have NEVER BEEN USED. This planter has Handpainted brown eyes and nose...a blood red tongue...and painted pink on the inside of the ears. As with all American Bisque planters, the glaze also covers the bottom except for two support bars. The American Bisque mold and the Handpainting bring out EXCEPTIONAL detail in this Scotty Dog planter. This Outstanding planter is in NEAR MINT UNUSED CONDITION, with NO chips, NO cracks, NO stains, and only a very few craze marks on the edge of the base...It is LIKE THE DAY IT WAS MADE 50+ Years ago. The white spots you see in my photo is light reflecting off the gloss glaze finish, and not flaws.
