9-1/4 in ROUND Vegetable BOWL WINFIELD Green LEAF WIN-1 Start Price USD 24.77 Current Price USD 24.77 Time Left 1 days 12 hours 26 minutes Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, October 13, 2008 End Time Sunday, January 11, 2009 Location Fountain Valley, California See more about '9-1/4 in ROUND Vegetable BOWL WINFIELD Green LEAF WIN-1' Description   my store | my feedback | ask a question | add to favorites Click to view supersized image  WINFIELD 9-1/4" Round Vegetable BOWL  Green Brown LEAFThis is a very nice rare Winfield China (1929-1962 Pasadena, California) (pattern identification on Replacements LTD =WIN1) 9-1/4” round VEGETABLE bowl.  The pattern name is from Replacements LTD and although it looks like the Passion Flower pattern the leaf in the bottom of this bowl has a green tint not pink. Lesley Winfield Sample established the Winfield Pottery as a school and studio.  It made cast porcelain vases and bowls.  Dinnerware and utilitarian items were added in 1935.  Designer Margaret Gabriel and her husband, Arthur, became owner of Winfield after Sample died in 1939,  Winfield’s backlog of orders was so great after World War II that in 1946 the Gabriel’s arranged for American Ceramic Products to produce some of the dinnerware for them.  Products manufactured at Winfield were then marked Gabriel – Pasadena to distinguish it from “Winfield China” made by American Ceramic Products.  The pottery closed in 1962.
