Maker: Sascha Brastoff. Pattern: Grey/White Smoke Tree. Measures: 8" across. There is crazing on some of the plates. One of them has what I think is a production imperfection. There is a section (about an 1") on the plate's rim that is rough. You can feel the glaze over the are, which makes me think it's not a big chip. I almost didn't notice it. This is the older edition of the Smoke Tree pattern. It doesn't have the Rooster stamped on the bottom and is a little lighter then the later darker grey. Originally an experimental pattern. The dishes come from my mother's collection, who got them from her mother. I will have several other pieces listed including a one of a kind turkey platter made By Sascha Brastoff in the Smoke Tree pattern for my grandsmother.
