Welcome to Our Ebay Site Up for auction is this 41 Baccarat Crystal Stems Montiagn Optic Made in France DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Baccarat crystal stems Montiagn Optic. There are 41 crystal stems in 3 sizes: 14 large, 14 medium, 13 small. The large size has a height of 7 inches and width of 3-1/2 inches. The medium size has a height of 6-3/8 inches and width of 3-1/4 inches. The small size has a height of 5-3/4 inches and a width of 2-3/4 inches. These Baccarat crystal stems retail for $140 each. The cost for the set if purchased new today is $5,740. They are double signed acid etched, signature as well as an inscribed script signature. All are in excellent condition. This pattern was created in 1840 and has an “optic” effect which is in the fluting on the interior of an outwardly smooth bowl. This “optic” effect casts intriguing shadows on a table or tablecloth.
