There are many pictures so please take the time to view them all so you can see for yourself how special these plates really are. They measure just shy of 9" in diamter at 8 7/8". They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. One plate does have evident surface crazing. The pastel colors are lovely shades of pink, green, and yellow on a white ground. Each fish is set in a natural and subtle habitat. Excellent gold rim. The artist signed each plate, J.E.Dean. In addition to the puce Mintons globe and crown mark on the back, there is the impressed Mintons mark and date code. I believe the date symbol is for 1910. Also, on the mark it indicates that these were marketed through Ovington Brothers establishment. These plates display wonderfully! Place a Bid!
