Description
Here are TWELVE (12) Tiffin mandarin/yellow dinner plates with the “ROSALIND” etched design. They date from the Depression Era. Each dinner plate has a ground and polished bottom and measures a tad more than 10 ½” in diameter. This Tiffin pattern was introduced in 1932 as noted by distinguished author Fred Bickenheuser in “Tiffin Glassmasters: A pictorial guide of the glassware produced by the Tiffin Glass Co., Tiffin, OH, during the depression era (1929-1941)”, 1979, p 25. This set of large dinner plates is in excellent condition and without chips, cracks or discoloration and almost no signs of being used. They are not new and are not free from usual wear & tear, effects of age or such things as air bubbles in the glass due to manufacturing techniques of that time. Unpacked, they weigh close to 21 lbs. Free shipping and insurance for USPS Postal Service Parcel Post (estimated delivery 2-9 days) within the United States. Please note that we have always accepted personal checks and money orders. Now, with some excellent assistance from eBay support associates, we can accept PayPal payments to make it easier for eBay buyers in their shopping experience. Thanks for looking and Happy Collecting.
